The Employment Pass (EP) is a work visa designed for eligible foreign professionals, managers, executives, and skilled workers seeking employment opportunities in Singapore.
The Singapore work visa is open to foreign professionals of all ethnicities and nationalities, assessed based on criteria such as the candidate’s salary, work experience, skill set, and educational qualifications.
The Singapore Employment Pass (EP) is typically issued with an initial validity of up to 2 years and can be renewed thereafter for up to 3 years per renewal, subject to approval by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
To apply for an Employment Pass (EP), foreign professionals must have a valid job offer from a Singapore-based employer and meet the following requirements:
- Hold a managerial, executive, or specialized job role.
- Possess a university degree, recognized professional qualifications, or relevant specialised skills.
- Earn a fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 5,000, with higher amounts required for experienced candidates or roles in certain industries.
